12 hrs Paediatric First Aid Course – £98
This 12-hour blended learning Paediatric First Aid course (6 hr practical + E-learning test) is suitable for childcarers registering on both parts of the childcare register. A certificate, valid for 3 years, will be issued upon completion of the course, as well as a First Aid booklet. The course takes place on Sundays monthly from 10am to 4pm and has an E-learning assessment. A sufficient command of the English language is needed to successfully pass this course.

OCN Common Core Skills & Knowledge Level 3 – £120
Childcarers are required to complete the Common Core Skills & Knowledge Training to register on the Ofsted Voluntary Childcare Register.
Candidates can choose to receive the OCN (Level 3), enabling them to receive a childcare qualification awarded through the Open College Network.
Courses occur on the weekend in Central London (Distance learning option is available).

OCN Nanny Cooking Course – £99
Introduction to food and nutrition for children and young people – Level 3
This accredited cooking course is suitable for nannies, domestic workers, housekeepers, and au-pairs who wish to become more confident and gain skills in preparing healthy food for babies, toddlers, and children. Courses have been designed by a qualified nutritionist with extensive experience working with children and families privately and with local authorities and charities throughout the UK.

CACHE Understand How To Set Up a Home-Based Childcare Service (CYPOP5)
Unit 1 of the Diploma in Home-based Childcare, Introduction to (Home-based) Childcare Practice (ICP), is the recommended introductory course for new and prospective childminders. This course is also suitable for unqualified Nannies (and other home-based childcarers) wishing to register with Ofsted.

CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
The CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. Upon achievement of this qualification, it is intended that learners will be able to enter the workforce as Early Years Educators

Length of Course: At least 18 – 24 months to complete the course, although the course can be completed in a shorter period.
Maternity Courses
OCN Postnatal Maternity Nurse Award (MNT) – Level 3 & 4
This respected qualification provides those wanting to become Maternity Nurses or those already working with babies an opportunity to further their skills. The Postnatal Maternity Care Award provides a comprehensive overview of the Maternity Nurse’s role by addressing all aspects of mother and newborn baby care and the practical support and guidance required within the family home environment.
Assessment Levels and credits:
The level on the certificate for each unit you have achieved shows the stage you have reached in your learning. A Level 3 qualification is A Level standard, and a Level 4 qualification is (the first year) degree standard.
The Level 3 course is awarded 3 credits, and the Level 4 course is awarded 4 credits. The credits relate to the estimated time to achieve a unit (1 credit = 10 national hours of learning).
Assessment process:
Candidates are emailed a study pack after the course. They are given 5 weeks to complete the assessment questions before sending the completed answers back to us by email. Babyem can provide assistance with coursework by email and phone.
Candidates opting to complete Level 4 will also be required to complete a practical assessment supporting a mother with breastfeeding.

NEW! OCN Maternity Nurse Training – Level 5
This innovative and unique course incorporates the latest evidence-based research, parent interviews, reflective learning, group discussions, and interactive teaching styles to help you maximise the course content. The course supports baby care specialists to reflect on complex and challenging situations, focusing on caring for multiples and babies with additional needs.
Our multi-disciplinary team of childcare experts (including a UK leading Obstetrician, Cranial Osteopath, Lactation Consultant, Sleep Specialist, and Postnatal Counsellor) will provide the latest information on a diverse range of topics related to caring for very young babies, from birth trauma to feeding difficulties. Baby Massage Teacher Training Course
This 2-day Infant Massage Certification Training suits childcare professionals, healthcare professionals and parents. The course provides candidates with a UK and Internationally Recognised Teaching Certificate. It is fully accredited by the Federation of Prenatal Education and Independent Professional Therapists International.
The course is led by Peter Walker – a teacher’s trainer, physical therapist, author and yoga teacher. Peter has over 40 years of experience delivering baby massage training and providing group and one-to-one sessions to parents with children with special needs.
Peter’s background in physical therapy and yoga underpins the high quality of his training program, with techniques based on the stages of a baby’s physical and emotional development supported by neuroscience research on babies’ brain development. Peter is credited with the free teaching of baby massage in NHS centres throughout the UK.

The certified infant massage training cost includes a copy of Peter Walker’s international best-selling book ‘Developmental Baby Massage’ and a DVD for all delegates. Candidates are also provided with course notes for delegates and session notes for parents.
Level 3 & 4 Postnatal Depression & Birth Trauma
This Postnatal Depression (PND) training course is suitable for childcare professionals working with postnatal mothers. This advanced-level course teaches candidates more about postnatal depression, including providing support and using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Courses are facilitated by a highly experienced Mental Health Nurse and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with experience working within forensic psychiatry, early intervention in psychosis and also within a mother and baby unit.
